Are you planning on ringing in the New Year with the entire family? We know that most parties are focused on adults-only (for obvious reasons). However there is also a great selection of ways you can celebrate with your kids! For parents with young kids, the big question for New Year’s Eve is always “Do we let the little ones sleep, or do we wake them?” More often than not kids struggle to stay up until midnight but if you do want to take your kids out with you or are here on holiday and have no choice, we have some suggestions for you.
There are a few family-orientated options such as Charming Chiang Mai Flower Festival which has now become one of the most popular spots for the countdown.
If you prefer to stay in the center of Chiangmai , one of the biggest countdown events happens in front of Central Chiang Mai or MAYA A street countdown happens every year outside the main shopping mall area and you will find many families gather here from early evening to enjoy the fireworks and live entertainment. The area is very family-friendly with many food stalls and children’s activities to keep them entertained or at least awake!
